We are pleased to announce the second annual NICA Awards Banquet to recognize and celebrate NICA’s outstanding student athletes, dedicated coaches, and passionate volunteer community that support the high school mountain biking revolution.
Join professional mountain biker, Adam Craig and NICA Development Director, Ben Capron for an in depth interview and multi-media presentation chronicling Craig’s epic quest for Olympic glory in the 2012 London Olympics. Hear how Craig’s career started when he joined his local high school mountain biking team, how his career has evolved in the ten years he has been racing as a professional and what it is going to take to qualify for the 2012 US Olympic Team and compete on the world stage. You’ll also have a chance to bid on one of 10 VIP spots and join Adam Craig for an Olympic Training Ride on Mt. Tam.

Event hosts, CLIF Bar & Company are opening their doors and their kitchen for this special event in their brand new energy-efficient headquarters in Emeryville, California. Executive Chef Scott Erickson and his expert staff at Kali’s Kitchen will create a custom menu highlighting the seasonal offerings supplied by their network of organic farmers. The meal will be paired with wine from the CLIF Family Winery & Farm.
