David Van Dyck
Director of Retail Development, Trek
David Van Dyck has been in the bicycle industry since the mid-1980’s, starting in bicycle retail in Salt Lake City, then moving to Europe with Trek in 1990, where he spent 26 years managing several of Trek’s European subsidiaries, opening new markets, and riding in as many of the world’s most famous cycling destinations and events as possible. David returned to Utah in 2016 as Trek’s Director of Retail Development, working with Trek’s company-owned retail stores throughout North America. David is also in his ninth season as a NICA coach with the Utah League and is a frequent backcountry hiker as well as a cyclist.
Kim Topp
Associate League Director, Texas League
Kim Topp has been a NICA coach since 2011 and is currently the Associate League Director for the Texas League. She was previously the Associate Director of Marketing and Communications for Texas A&M University where she led a team of brand ambassadors, graphic designers, web design and developers, and content creators. She’s a fruit snack throwing, megaphone toting, graphic design and brand guru who believes that authentic content is the most engaging content. She is the first person to grab a spotlight and show others the awesomeness of the things around her.
If you ever bump into someone on the trail who offers you fruit snacks… it is likely Kim.
Marley Blonsky
Co-host of the All Bodies on Bikes podcast
Marley Blonsky is a fat adventure cyclist, co-founder of All Bodies on Bikes, co-host of the All Bodies on Bikes podcast, curve model, advocate and consultant. Marley is fiercely passionate about size inclusion, believing that everyone deserves full access to life-including at work, in sport and at home.
Marley loves all kinds of bike riding, especially overnight adventures, long gravel rides and riding her cargo bike with her dogs in the front box. Marley might not be the fastest cyclist out there, but she rides with determination, grit and perseverance, leading her to multiple last-place finishes!

Dr. Danny Twilley
Assistant Vice President of Economic, Community, and Asset Development
Dr. Danny Twilley is the Assistant Vice President of Economic, Community, and Asset Development for the Brad and Alys Smith Outdoor Economic Development Collaborative at West Virginia University. In this role he and the team utilizes asset based economic development to support talent attraction and retention programs including the remote worker initiative, community and economic development, asset development and enhancement, business and workforce programs, and research all to make West Virginia the premier place to live, work, play, go to school, and do business. He approaches this work by developing effective collaborations and partnerships across the University, state and local governments, non-profits, industry, and related groups to stand-up and advance initiatives.
Through his and the team’s work he has helped secure over $46 million in external funding through federal, state, and philanthropic partnerships. Additionally, he has supported partnering organizations in applying, receiving, and executing $20+ million in funding. In his academic role Danny’s research interest centers on community evaluation, population trends, factors to talent retention and attraction, how recreation transforms people and place which includes the psychological outcomes of leisure engagement, recreation’s role is community development, and the socio-economic impact of recreation-based development. Having published numerous journal articles, book chapters, and received several million dollars in grant funding he strives for his work to have a positive impact on people and place.
