We think all of our coaches are awesome, so we wanted to hear from the NICA community which coaches you felt have made positive impacts for your team and league. The coaches highlighted here were nominated by their community for their dedication to furthering youth development through interscholastic mountain biking. Thanks to everyone for your input – and we’d like to introduce you to some of our super awesome coaches from all across NICA!
NICA has partnered with Trek Bikes to again offer a Certified Assembly Technician Course at their Waterloo, Wisconsin Headquarters. This year three sessions, including one specifically for female student-athletes and coaches, are being offered.
As part of our 2017 Share the Ride Campaign, one lucky new NICA Sustainer won a 2018 trip with Western Spirit Cycling Adventures. Congratulations to our winner – Anne Rock from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania!
We are pleased to announce that reigning MTB World Champion and Team LUNA Chix hotshot, Catharine Pendrel, will host the 5th Annual NICA Awards to recognize and celebrate NICA’s outstanding student-athletes, dedicated coaches, and passionate volunteer community that support the high school mountain biking revolution.
