Coach Registration
The first step to become a NICA coach is to speak with your local team’s head coach or team director, who will send you an invite to register in Pit Zone as a coach. This personalized invite is sent via email.
Once you click the link to begin your Pit Zone registration as a coach, you will be prompted to do the following:
- Pay a coach membership fee (this fee covers administrative costs and your insurance coverage as a NICA coach)
- Electronically sign NICA’s liability and release waivers
- Agree to NICA’s Adult Code of Conduct
- Initiate a background check through Sterling Volunteers
